Doug Kleintop, President, MPA

A Bradford resident and career social worker with a public administration background and a particular interest in organizational culture. Doug has been an MPC board member since 2018 and also helps manage the social safety net programs at Vermont’s Economic Services Division.  

 

Graham Gove, Vice President and Treasurer

Graham is a native of Bradford and retired from the Wells River Savings Bank in 2018 as its Chief Lending Officer. He continues to serve on the bank’s Board of Trustees. He formally served on the Board of Directors for Little Rivers Healthcare, and on the Board of Trustees for the Bradford Public Library.

 

Carole Freeman, Secretary

Carole is a retired educator. During her career in education, she was an elementary school teacher, university professor, and school administrator.  She currently serves on the Partnerships for Literacy and Learning and Little Rivers Health Care boards.  

Jody Pratt Ameden, Director

Jody is a mechanical engineer and formed an energy consulting business in 2011. She is currently serving on multiple boards and committees within the energy sector in New England.  She grew up in Bradford, is granddaughter to Margaret Pratt, and currently residing in Maine.

Charlie Barton, DDS, Director

Charlie is an area native and runs a dental practice in Bradford, VT. Charlie's father, the late Dr. James Barton was a founding member of Enhanced Living, Inc.

Nancy Frost, Director

Retired Postmaster Nancy Frost lives in Topsham. Nancy has served on the board of Little Rivers Health Care, Orange East Senior Center and many years in various positions on church boards.

 

Jane Kitchel, Director

Jane lives in Danville. A retired public administrator, Jane has 35 years of experience in Vermont Human Services, ending her career as Secretary of the Agency of Human Services Agency for Governor Howard Dean. Jane is currently a member of the Vermont State Senate where she currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Appropriations.

 

Laura Lornitzo, Director

Laura has lived in Bradford for 10 years. She is a proud mother of 3 school-aged children and is the Director of Adult Inpatient Nursing at Dartmouth Hitchcock. She recently graduated from the Masters of Health Care Delivery Science program at Dartmouth College.

 

Amy Perry, Director

Amy Perry has lived in West Newbury for over 25 years.   She worked for a software company & has several years of Operations Management experience. She is a current trustee for the Tenney Memorial Library and a former trustee of Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. 

 

Dan Smith, Director

Dan is a Principal and Senior Project Manager for H.P. Cummings Construction company.  Outside of work, Dan’s time is spent with family, coaching, being outdoors as much as possible, and serving on numerous local boards.

 

Jake Thompson, Director

Jake is an area native and associate attorney at Otterman and Allen, P.C. in Barre, VT, bringing a legal perspective to his first board of directors’ experience.
